I should have done a lot more painting today but somehow time slipped away. I have worked on the head and eyes, somehow it seems easier than I thought it would be. The photo I am using shows Tilly as having yellow eyes but her eyes are a milky green so I kept trying to wake her up today to have a good look at them. She was less than impressed. The reason I wasted so much time was down to keep fit dvd's. I have kept myself fit for 10 years thanks to Nell McAndrew and her range of peak energy dvds. After 10 years (3 times a week) I am getting a little fed up of them, so I have been doing some research on the internet to find a new one. I decided that I was going to get the Biggest Loser, New Year New You. So I drove off to Asda to get it along with some shopping. Typically it wasn't there so I ended up buying the Hannah Waterman dvd. When I got back home I put it on. The idea is that in 20 minutes they do this general kind of exercise then keep spurting quickly to raise your heartbeat. I was sweating but I really didn't like it, the second part was boxing and the spurts on this required me to punch quickly above my head. I ended up punching my left hand with my right hand and it still hurts now. So after 40 minutes I felt sweaty but not quite right and put on one of my Nell dvds for 20 minutes. I wearily dragged myself off to the shower completely exhausted and dizzy when I should have really laid off the exercise today since I have a bit of a cold. At Asda I bought some bagels for the first time. My youngest son said they sold them at school in break time and I thought I would give them a try. I have not bought them before because I assumed they were unhealthy since they are American. I was surprised how heavy they felt. I'm not really sure what you are supposed to do with them but I cut one in half and toasted it to have with my soup at lunch time. I think because one of the sides was shiny it somehow got an awful lot hotter than the other so when I took it out of the toaster I burnt my finger and that is also still hurting now. If I had only stuck to a day of painting and chores I wouldn't be counting my injuries.
