Hello, August 2010, after 27 years of not lifting a paint brush other than to paint the house. I went back in time when I found my drawings and paintings from roughly age 14-16. I remember as a young man I wanted to be an artist. I even sold a few drawings to passing members of the public, I managed to achieve this as my friend had started an apprenticeship with Holroyds Picture Framers in High Street, Glasgow, where a few of my drawings were hung in the Gallery. My passions started for Oils after seeing a TV program called "Paint Along with Nancy" she used a palette knife and demonstrated how to use it. Christmas morning 1980 my "Paint Along with Nancy" set was opened. September 2010, sky TV and a guy called Bob Ross grabbed my attention watching how easily he applied paint to the canvas and the amazing results he achieve existed me! First time in 27years I had thought about painting again.Christmas morning 2010 Santa had brought me an easel, Oils, brushes, mediums and canvases. November 2011, 12 painting completed and loving it. I hope to put a few videos up in the New Year with some of Bob Ross unanswered questions. Things that just were not explained in Bob's show that may be helpful to others. Thanks for Reading David
