I've made the effort to do some painting each morning this week - can't keep hiding under the doona - but this one is not from scratch; I laid the base paint down months ago and have put it aside...probably too "hard" to think what was needed next. So this week saw a lot of scumbling and glazing and its not so bad. Still think it needs something but don't know what? People who have seen it like it, and I know one is always most critical of one's own work. BTW its acrylic on board. Had the penultimate painting class for the term today but at least I have four Sundays of printmaking to look forward to from this weekend. So classes not entirely over just yet. Also popped into the British Library to see their "Points of View" exhibition....don't go there nearly enough....
