Hi everyone, does anyone have any good ideas to pass on. I gave one on my introductory blog. I'm sure we all have one or two things which we use or adapt. Some we will have heard before, but I'll bet some people will be hearing about it for the first time, so let's not be shy. Has anyone tried mixing "strong'' watercolour into wallpaper paste ? It paints similar to oils or acrylic.Detail can be scratched out with the end of a brush. You can still damp the paper and the colors will still run and blend but not as much. Drying time is much longer, although a hair dryer will speed it up. It's fun, and you create lots of texture. It dries out to an "oil appearance''. I use a cheap oil brush. Try painting big waves - it can be quite revealing ! Peter.
