These past few weeks that I have been able to paint in the house instead of freezing outside in my cold pottery room have been amazing to me.I have been having a brilliant time,and now I have been making some very brave decisions...! One of my issues has been that I have spread my time between the things I love to do too thinly,leaving everything I do ,as I see it,rushed. As of today,I feel much more relaxed,as I have decided to put far more effort into painting,and stop trying to do pottery at the same time. My training was in 3D design..just an HNC,as a mature stiudent..fine for making pots.....but times change.....kids grow up and leave home,giving us more freedom. My question to you is,would you know of a good painting course I could follow on line or by post..or a brilliant book....I d really love to know if something really made a big difference to your art.....or is it best to just get on with it and develop without any tuition......any thoughts....?
