I would like to thank all of you wonderful people who commented on my Fat Humming Bird your words have really given me some confidence which I have been lacking for quite some time...I havn't turned out a finished work in many months...I love Chinese Brushwork and have decided now to practice this style because I enjoy it so much...most of the work will be taken from the exercises in the many books I have bought until I gain enough knowledge to use some of the photographs I have taken with this style in mind...I also love the the tradition behind this style and always read every book I buy instead of just flicking through looking for a nice exercise...so again THANK YOU ALL I have posted a picture on my blog of the first baby snake of the season which I very nearly stood on whilst carrying in shopping...It seems just hatched and fortunately for me a bit stunned and cold...it's quite early and the snakes we usually see on their way out of our garden are bigger...it is either a Dugite or a Gwardar...I thought at first it was a legless lizard but googled it and no it isn't...I didn't think we got Gwardars (Brown Snakes) down our way but according to the experts we do...I read the local paper tonight and the snake catcher has been very busy locally...so now we have to watch the ground just in case...this evening Hubby was out watering in his bare feet, later I showed him the photo I had taken somehow I don't think he will be in bare feet tomorrow...hope you like it...I hope you can see it I used the zoom not wanting to get too close. I would also like to send my best wish those of our friends on this site who are sick at the moment and hope we have them back without pain and Illness soon
