That is how long I have been resident in my studio. I made the decision to take on a studio as I find there are too many distractions at home. Plus, my youngest has started school full time so this gave me the perfect opportunity to try and improve my drawing skills before (hopefully) going to college next year. I find myself creased with nerves at the prospect of doing anything that means my work goes on show, but I know that is part of my problem - I lack confidence. I have almost finished this portrait, but I can't decide whether to put a background on it or not.
