I can't remember the last time I painted a still life - probably at school or maybe in my 20's. Therefore, this was a bit of a challenge but an enjoyable one. The Satsuma's are from Christmas and the vase is one bought in Holland in the factory shop of Delft - which brought back nice memories. I enjoyed painting both the vase and the fruit however, I think the material isn't quite right so will work on that!
