I like this one a lot Susie I am facinated by the different cultures and colours of Africa , the previous painting I recognised straight away as one of the photographs in a book I have , so you got close, two tips I was given 1. hold the drawing up to a mirror, look and compare 2. if drawing from a photograph turn the photograph and your drawing upside down and continue to draw, it works because you then draw shapes that are there rather than familiar ones you think are there,you know 'a nose is a nose' any way try it it may help, portraits are the hardest to do because everyone has an opinion, perhaps youv'e noticed :)

Dear William, Thank you so much for your comments and I shal try out what you say. I have been struggling with my work recently and the more I do the less easy I find it. Mixing colours seeing what I am drawing properly etc. thanks again for taking the time. Susie
