Gondolier, start of the day

The gondala is very well painted, they always look a little precarious to me!

Love this but I think I would have cropped out the buildings

Thanks again for your comments. Fred, I decided to include the island of San Giorgio Maggiore to give both scale and location to the painting. I thought about adding even more but my subject was, of course, the gondolier after all. That's the beauty of art, we all have an opinion and none of them are wrong.
