Simply lovely. Gorgeous colours. Makes me want to walk along the path into the sunset. May be just a very thin glaze of bluish purple over the distant viridian?

Ann, I’m sorry to hear about your health issue, I hope you are on the road to a full recovery. Your watercolour shows no indication what’s so ever, it’s a beautiful kaleidoscope of colour and very skilfully applied.

This is my first attempt at a painting after having a very unexpected stroke seven weeks ago. I feel it’s rather overworked, and has lost some translucency, and the colours are a bit competitive. But picking up the brushes again has been a tonic, so it isn’t all bad! It’s good to be back, onwards and upwards, and looking forward to Spring. Watercolour with some white gouache highlights.
