If you are inspired by animals and birds you will never be short of a new subject to paint. The challenge is how to breathe energy and life into your paintings so that the animals leap off the page.

In this webinar, you will work in line and wash to capture a moment of stillness of the hare. You will use a very relaxing and forgiving scribbled line, enjoying the freedom it gives us.

Throughout the webinar you will cover:

  • How to use multiple references in your compositions
  • Giving a role to both line work and watercolour
  • Injecting fun and character into line work
  • Starting with pen in line and wash (during the bulldog webinar you would have started with paint)
  • Allowing colours to mix on the paper surface
