'Begin by transferring the line drawing in whichever way suits you best,' says Glennis. 'I used the trace method.
'For this demonstration I used watercolours and watercolour pencils. The benefit of watercolour pencils is the amount of control and detail they provide, they can also be used dry for a crisp line when needed.
'I am using Caran d’Ache Museum Aquarelle, Caran d'Ache Supracolour and Faber Castell watercolour pencils sharpened to a point so as to get extra detail.'
