Winner of the 2014 Tony Hogan Award in The Artist and Leisure Painter Open Art Competition enjoys his prize

Bob Hill, winner of last year's Tony Hogan Award in The Artist and Leisure Painter Open Art Competition in partnership with Patchings Art Centre, enjoys his prize in Cornwall.

Bob Hill, winner of the Tony Hogan Award at last year's Patching’s Art Festival in the Leisure Painter category, joined the first art holiday course Tony has run in Cornwall following his move from Yorkshire and where he will now be running the majority of his art holiday courses.

Bob enjoyed four days painting and drawing various outstanding scenic locations near Wadebridge under Tony's guidance.

His time included transport in the 'Tony Art Bus' to carefully selected painting venues. These provided a range of painting opportunities including harbours, boats, buildings, seascapes and river estuaries with great reflections of trees and skies.

The sun shone in a warm Cornish sky providing Bob and the whole group the chance to see and depict Cornwall at its finest.

The 2015 exhibitions open at the Patchings Art Festival on June 4 in Nottingham. Award winners will be selected prior to opening and will be announced on June 4.
