What to look forward to at this year's Patchings Festival of Art, Craft & Design

Patchings Festival 2019

This year's Patchings Festival of Art, Craft & Design takes place from July 11 to 14 and here are just some of the things you can look forward to:

  • Join us in marquee 26 for practical art demonstrations by Carole Baker and Tim Fisher.
  • St. Cuthberts Festival Marquee (11) features a programme of demonstrations by celebrity artists.
  • In marquee 12 you can meet and see the work of artists Soraya French, Laura Boswell, David Bellamy, Carne Griffiths, Peter Cronin and Andrew Hucklesby.
  • Join Glyn Macey for a series of demonstrations in the Winsor & Newton marquee (13).
  • Meet well-known artists and Search Press authors in marquee 14.
  • Marquee 15 sees a daily programme of photography presentations plus glass artwork.
  • Discover and purchase your art materials in marquee 16.
  • Charles Evans will be demonstrating Daler Rowney materials in marquee 17.
  • Marquee 18 is dedicated to Bob Ross.
  • Discover skilled artists and more in the mixed media marquee (19).
  • Demonstrations from Jenny Muncaster and prizes to be won at Pebeo Live in marquee 20.
  • Glass blowing demonstrations will take place in marquee 21.
  • Georgia Mansur will demonstrate Daniel Smith Watercolours in marquee 22.
  • The UK Coloured pencil Society will be promoting the art of the coloured pencil in marquee 23.
  • Marquee 24 hosts The Art of Bonsai.
  • Meet and see some of the contry's most renowned artists, John Sprakes, Pollyanna Pickering, Bruce Mulcahy, Roger Dellar, David Curtis, Haidee-Jo Summers, Soraya French and Carne Griffiths, in the Guest Artist Marquee (27 and 28).
  • Stephen Ashurst demonstrates portraiture in the Patchings Artist Marquee (29).
