The Sherbornes Art Exhibition is a biennial event formed over eight years ago by artists Pat Burt and Lindsay Berry, not only to exhibit their own work but to invite different artists each year to join them in raising funds for charities close to their hearts.

Lindsay Berry is an individual Watercolour artist and one of the principal driving forces of the exhibition. Works from the original group of painters led by Mike Hall, a professional artist, comprising Pat Burt, Richard Turner, Tom Anderson, Jenny Finch, Nicky Bunker, Judith Hinsley, and Linda Bliss are included along with invited local guest artists, sculptors and ceramicists. The aim is to keep the exhibition as “local” as possible, whilst providing a quality show with a variety of artistic styles. The charities benefiting this year are Sherborne St John Village Hall and Sebastian's Action Trust.
