Studio 7 in made up of seven accomplished painters who meet regularly to work in a small professional practice group based at the London Museum of Water and Steam, Kew Bridge. Working from the eponymous Studio 7, members enjoy sharing ideas and techniques and benefit from the encouragement of the highly regarded artist Jason Bowyer (NEAC, PP, RP). The seven painters represented in this exhibition are: Colette Clegg, Rosie Copeland, Jill Fairbairns, Christ Great, Piers Grizzelle, Viv King and Ann Whitehead. Connected by a shared interest in painting and drawing from observation, the group's paintings are both distinct from each other and yet united by their dynamic approach to landscapes, interiors, still life and the figure.
