Anne Witheridge paints a pastel portrait of Caroline

Founder and Director of London Fine Art Studios. Ann has been teaching drawing and painting in the Atelier tradition (both at Charles H. Cecil Studios, Florence, Italy & Founder of Lavender Hill Studios, Battersea, London) for nearly twenty years. She has an art history degree from Christ’s College Cambridge and loves teaching painting and drawing as much as the study and practice. She regularly writes for art periodicals and also gives workshops in Museums across London, including Leighton House Museum.Painting Drawing and Sculpting Demonstrations. Produced by the first atelier in the UK, the studios focus on the craft of traditional painting and drawing. We offer rigorous training in the traditional techniques and methods of representational art whilst giving students the opportunity to develop their own style. Professional artists and beginners apply to our full-time, foundation and short courses. We believe art students want to receive clear, practical instruction on the principles and methods of drawing and painting.
