Launching on 29 September 2017 Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival will showcase the creative talent of local, regional, national and international artists. One of the main strands of the Festival is the Contemporary Open exhibitions. Building on the success of previous years, the Contemporary Open will be hosted by Warrington Museum & Art Gallery, while the Photography Open will be on show at The Gallery at Bank Quay House. Both exhibitions will run from 29 September – 28 October 2017. We are inviting artists, living or working in a 50 mile radius of Warrington, to submit up to three works. Submissions are now open on our website, where you can also find full details about conditions of entry as well as guidance for delivering final work if selected. The submissions deadline is Sunday 27 August 2017. For both exhibitions, first prize is £250 plus a solo exhibition in 2018, while second prize is £100.
