We, Thea's family, would like to send our thanks for the touching comments everyone has posted about her and her paintings.

She has always loved art, but it was only in the last ten years that she discovered a passion for watercolours.

She adored posting her paintings on here and also following the works of her POL friends. We were always fascinated by her ability to paint 'loosely' - as she put it - as the rest of us, in her immediate family, have symmetry OCD!

The past year, as she has deteriorated, we have all sat with her as she has powered on to continue painting, it gave her so much pleasure. We were so touched by everyone's thoughtful, kind and ongoing comments this year as the change in her style must have become more obvious. But still people continued to comment and these meant so much to her - thank you.

We miss her ever so much but we have a very precious part of her left - her amazing paintings which we treasure.
