A one-day life drawing workshop led by Derwent Art Prize 2016 exhibitor and prizewinner Tim Wright.
On Friday 21 September, as part of the Derwent Art Prize 2018 Events Programme, Tim Wright will lead a life drawing workshop focussed on capturing energy and movement.
On Friday 21 September, as part of the Derwent Art Prize 2018 Events Programme, Tim Wright will lead a life drawing workshop focussed on capturing energy and movement. The workshop will be split into two parts, either side of lunch.
Part 1: Quick sketches moving on to longer studies in which participants will experiment with techniques demonstrated by Tim.
Part 2: Participants will work on a more detailed piece which will give Tim the chance to observe their method and offer ideas, guidance and individually tailored instruction.
All materials will be provided free of charge.

The Derwent Art Prize 2018 will be on display at Mall Galleries (the Threadneedle Space) from 18 - 23 September 2018. Throughout the week, a number of the exhibiting artists will be conducting artist demonstrations against the backdrop of the exhibition. Please do drop by to see them in action and steal a sneak peak into their studio life.
