A lovely palette for this beautiful scene with the sturdy rocks and trees. The bold linear draws out the landscape well and allows the water to drift into the pool.

I took up painting when I retired. I am mainly self taught and started with watercolours but now use acrylics and other mixed media. I live in the north east of England and I tend to lean towards painting our beautiful coastline, castles and landmarks.
