Watercolour and pen painting of Whitby. Used pen for the first time on a painting. I might have overdone it but it certainly makes the houses stand out. Overall I am quite pleased with the outcome.

I took up painting when I retired. I am mainly self taught and started with watercolours but now use acrylics and other mixed media. I live in the north east of England and I tend to lean towards painting our beautiful coastline, castles and landmarks.
