I love graffiti in a painting (touch of the Banksy’s) always an interesting point. Your painting is great and I wouldn’t mind that red car... ;)

Thanks everyone for your encouraging comments. Some friends and family esp younger ones liked this as well. Maybe graffiti is my hidden talent but I don't think I'll be making any undercover forays just yet!

Hang on Studio Wall

The scene is real but I got bored with it as a straight watercolour so moved on to some gouache . Then I threw some Indian ink at it and got the idea of inventing the graffiti. Finally coated with gloss acrylic varnish. LAUGH.

I'm an 81 year old retired surgeon . Art has been my lifelong obsession away from work and now my main focus in life together with woodwork. I enjoy creating and making in any medium but have always gravitated to drawing and watercolour. I've also had limited training in etching and sculpture.
