Strange colour change

It's quite attractive but strangely the other recent sheep drawing mounted the same way and at the same time has stayed black. Presumably I was more liberal with the gel on this one and it has permeated to the ink and caused a chemical reaction. Not sure yet if it will revert to black as the gel dries. Started a blog on this ink.

Well it works - lovely work. I love drawing with a fountain pen; must be something to do with the weight in your hand.

Superb drawing , must get those old pens out of the black hole everything seems to disappear into, I love writing with them so drawing would be a great challenge.

Love the sepia tint, not as harsh as black, seems to be more alive.

I have just mounted this platinum carbon black drawing on a plywood gesso coated base using thick gloss acrylic gel as I often do and got this totally unexpected colour change.
