Glorious clouds and I really like those touches of pink too

Fabulous Rachel, I can feel the weight in that cloud…

Outstanding work such a beautiful piece, those clouds are beautifully done, more please.

I agree with Alan’s comment Rachel, heavy and ominous. Look forward to sharing your journey of making clouds!

Like this very much.

Lovely painting like it a lot !!

Lovely work Rachel.

Thank you so much Heather, Alan, Paul, Paul, Fiona, Stephen, Valerie and Denise, such encouraging comments - Thank you so much😅

Love this atmospheric, wonderful landscape Rachel, in your inimitable style.

Wonderful

Thank you so much again Maureen, Carole and Chris. So much appreciated

They ARE difficult to paint (mind you, what isn't?). The only tip I can offer is to keep the darks thin, because otherwise you end up painting the sunlit parts with very thick paint which can give the impression of weight that a cloud doesn't actually have. This isn't an oblique criticism, even though you have used thick paint - just a thought if you're after other techniques.

Thank you Carole and Robert- Thats very helpful advice Robert and thank you for sharing it- Any tips are welcome. I don't dare post the last two I've attempted!

Lovely application of paint, with some lovely touches.
