Sun and Showers - Cavendish by Rachel Wood

Super sunlit fields, Rachel. You've struck the right note with this one.

You've used good, thick paint; a great way to enjoy the substance of oils; while I suppose the sky is a bit on the dark side, you've countered that with the sunlit greens, and I think this works.

We are getting a lot of this kind of weather at the moment Rachel. The light and shadow on the landscape is exactly what the weather conditions produce. Lovely lush paint and brush work.
