Wanted to put a time limit on a painting of 40 mins- so I managed this 6in x 6in oil, of the moments before the sun came up over the horizon- Found It really focused colour mixing and application and left little room for faffing…. It’s by no means perfect but shows something can be produced in a small window of time….and perhaps good as a warm up for another painting afterwards.
