Thank you Paula, Satu, Sarah and Mia. Looking at this now I can see the bee is wrong, I should have carried the wings over the lower part of the beak as I did the body. I will have to correct this or it will annoy me!

Fabulous strong colour and what a handsome bee eater. They just keep getting better and better! I'd leave the wings and beak as they are. It looks to me as though the bee is caught by it's tummy where it bulges through the beak. Nothing wrong at all

...and, the strong uninterrupted black lines of the beak look good.

Thank you Louise, you're right, it does look ok now you've described it as you see it! I'm relieved, I have a habit of fiddling and ruining things!

Panic ye not. It is superb. Louise is right. I know, however, how you feel. It is so easy to panic, but never do anything or adjust anything in haste. Most times you are right the first time.
