Thorhousekie Stone Circle by Willie Drea

Yes there is something spiritual about these places Willie, I agree with you. I like the solidity of your stones and the gap in the dyke, taking you to the distant trees and that chink of light on the horizon. The whole painting has an atmosphere. There is a stone circle near me, on the road to Kirkcowan, called Torhousekie stone circle.

Great painting Willie, has quite a spooky mood to it.
