Kgalagadi meerkats by Willemien Burger

An enchanting group of meerkats. You have captured their look of curiosity perfectly and I imagine this would have been quite a challenging project Willemien. I’m not a very proficient water colour artist but perhaps you could get away with only taping the corners.

Carole, the faces was quite a challenge but it turned into a joy with them each getting their own personality as they developed on paper. Strangely enough, the most challenging part to me was to get the areas where they touch right. The paint still dripped into the wasi tape as you can see...I guess it was too wet. Still learning!

Always love meerkats, they can't help bring a smile to my face. This is a smashing group and hats off to you to do it in watercolour
