Fantastic tonal values and sketching Brian. You could still put some washes on it but it’s lovely as it is.

A superb graphite drawing of this 'still-life' Brian, the tonal values look so realistic and the sheen on the stainless steel perculator turned out great! The contrasts between light and dark with mid grey really resonate well, giving balance and depth in the way each object is placed upon the wood-grain surface.

I can see why you wanted to carry on with the drawing. Wonderful outcome
