The likeness is there Jim, good effort indeed. If I may say, better than some that had a full view and four hours. Must add that I couldn’t have made a very good job if I had been one of the contestants.

with his thousand yard stare (yard Mariella, not miles) from B.B.C's Painting Challenge last night. Mission impossible to sketch it with any accuracy as the old guy was only shown seconds at a time. Had to finish it the best way I could. Old Pascal and co would probably have ripped it to ribbons. (-:
