Nicely done Jim, you have got the real character and strength in that working boat I really like the mark making, I like pen and ink and pen and wash myself at times, I was always partial to black and white photography for character and your painting brings just that to the subject, nice one.

A busy scene Jim, nicely done in monochrome, makes you think about your tonal range of course and you have pulled it off.

I think you'd make an excellent illustrator Jim. You seem to produce work very quickly too. As soon as I'm asked to produce something arty, I get a block.
