A good take on an astonishing sculpture. Carved from a solid block of marble. I can grasp modelling with clay, but consider this kind of sculpture the highest form of art.

Keeping in mind that David is a marble statue and not a Mr Universe contestant, I washed a pale coat of thin acrylic over him to remove sharp edges and make him a little lifeless.. I'm leaving it at that now before I ruin it. I've enjoyed doing this one. (-:
