Like it Jim , I always amazed at how big those old battle ships were.

I think I've seen the picture on which you based this, or a near one to it anyway. You've caught the shape and impact of these ships with just an absolute minimum of detail, and have really brought this off well. They were great vessels - I also remember (well, not personally) those beautifully proportioned German battleships, Scharnhorst, Tirpitz, Bismarck, Deutschland - such a shame they were weapons of war whose only purpose was destruction, but notwithstanding that, they were still brilliant examples of naval architecture: their shapes were gorgeous, if their purpose was not.
