Great job using a a ball point pen Jim. I remember how popular he was and my sister belting out his music on a radiogram we had just acquired along with Perry Como and Nat King Cole.

Some great songs in that show. What a voice he had. (There was a documentary about him on Sky-arts recently...which I was only able to watch because it's now on Freeview.)

Never hear Mario Lanza at all now do we. Saw him at the London Palladium in the the early fifties. They had all the Americans stars every fortnight back in the day.

A ball pen sketch version of a young Mario Lanza, a man with a truly wonderful voice. I was hearing Gaudeamus Igitur...(Let us rejoice) On reflection, his hand is a wee bit small.
