I still do this Jim, can’t resist gathering kindling for the fires. Although I don’t carry a sack, I always have a bit of string in my pocket. It’s a smashing painting of a bygone necessity.

Nice work, Jim. I don't know if you painted the sky brown, or left tan paper bare, either way it works well. Although a warm tone, the painting conveys bitter cold.
