Line and wash imaginary scene, prompted in my mind no doubt by Cowboys and a love of western films when younger. One of my favourite films is Charles Bronson's "Once upon a time in the West", although it had no Native Americans in it. Brilliant painter of the old West, Thomas Moran, came from my home town of Bolton.
