Strong and loose (if that makes sense) often work which is done when the technique is not too intense can be rewarding

"Head of an African Man with turban" painted as an oil and part of a collection, back in 1609 and now owned by Paul Getty. I did most of this with a small brush (and with no intent to capture the genius's work which would be impossible) using my own colours scheme , after a quick pencil outline. Poor quality watercolour box 8 x 5 inches. Just practise work.
