Really good movement with the dancers Jim and I like the idea of a painting to a particular piece of music.

Great effort Jim, I like the idea. I've given up on this one after 3 goes, total lack of interest for some reason. I'll try again on the July challenge - maybe!

I can see why you like it, Jim. Super composition. The dancers and musician are brilliant, and I love the way the background adds to the general liveliness. (Stuck in the doldrums myself, no bad back to excuse it, just a lot going on and when I do get round to drawing something it's not worth posting. I posted a sketch yesterday at 7 am, had second thoughts, and withdrew it at 9am...luckily no-one had commented on it.)

I came across this whilst feeling sorry for myself with a really bad back pain. I painted it whilst listening to Arty Shaw's marvelous big-band orchestra playing "Begin the Beguine". Of all the things I've ever done, this is my favourite so beg pardon for putting it up again. I feel better already..(-:
