This is excellent Jim, balance and movement just right, as is the detail.

Brill, reminds me of Rawhide, remember that one?

Thanks Marjorie and Carole, and yes, I do indeed Carole. Eric Fleming and a very young Clint Easwood. (-:

Brilliant Jim! Never heard of Hidalgo though.....

I remember the film...excellent. I prefer this sketch to your Hidalgo2, Jim. Although it's very loosely painted this has a wonderful sense of movement (the whole point of the pose). That's never easy to achieve. Great stuff.

What a great movement here!

Great movement - and painting

Jim, my wife asks whether this is for sale.

Thanks everybody for the good words. Much appreciated indeed. . David Perry. Such a compliment from your wife, but unfortunately it's only a sketch in my book. If you wish, you have my permission to save it as a file, print it off, enlarge it and frame it as a print with my compliments. No charge of course.

Excellent, full of movement.
