The site is just a ruin now, old abandoned and roofless cottages, only the trees remain, but this is how I imagine Emily (Ellis Bell) Bronte would have seen it in her lifetime. A pen and wash quick sketch done this afternoon, not from the wild moors but the comfort of my chair. (-:
