Think you have made a very good job of this Jim. Well done

Lovely painting Jim you have pushed a little further here always a good idea every so often

Very gestural with bold marks and movement Jim. The trees and palette reminds me of a J.S.S. (There is so much to learn from studying the masters and learning from their color choices, values, brushstrokes, how they paint figures, the light, etc. I have practiced and tried some Winslow Homer landscapes. Have not attempted a JSS, yet. Good for you Jim!)

Thank you David, Dennis and Nancy for the comments. Winslow Homer is another fine artist I once did a copy of, probably in my gallery somewhere. As you say Nancy, there is much that can be learned from the masters by observation and pracise. It was a challenge, but I enjoyed doing this.

Thanks Diana, Margaret and Maureen. Appreciated.
