Hero ways

You have a remarkable talent and imagination. very nice to gaze at.

To me this is beautifully painted and your nessage is clear. It reminds me of a remark made by my mother many years ago about how we are all rushing and so busy now that we have no time for people anymore. The chain and the clock are very thought provoking

Thank you all for your comments, I am happy to hear that "hero ways" has meaning to other people to. It is inspired by a song written by my husband about a friend of his who plays the role of the jester but is a very lonely person underneath. In the song the lyrics read "with your hero ways you could break any chains, by turnig back time and leaving the past behind you" and "only time will tell oneday you'll break you spell and leave you all alone with your Hero ways" I have used soft pastles on A2 paper for this picture. I'm going to start on my next pic today, sun is shining, Me and the kids will spend the day in garden, them in the pool and me trying to keep my picture dry! x

How lovely for your husband to have his lyrics illustrated so well. You are fortunate to have found a partner with the creative side that many people dont have. I also like to interpret lyrics if I am doing an abstract as it gives my imagination something to ponder on. I wonder what you will come up with next Wanda?
