I have always wanted to do a painting of Circe the sorceress from the tale of Odysseus. Those of you in the know may recall that she turned people into animals, specifically turning Odysseus men into swine (comments from the lady members of the forum are not required at this point. lol). She lived in a grove where lions and wolves kept her company. I've opted for a panther though I may add a lion in later. This is going to be acrylics on canvas. 16" x 11". This was the first sketch.
