Mongolian Eagle Festival

Thank you, Jim and Gudrun, for your comment. I have only been to Mongolia once and joined the Nadaam Festival. I got to know this Eagle Festival from newspaper and was so attracted by it. It's a traditonal annual event held in the far west side of Mongolia, when the eagles and their trainers compete for their hunting skills (speed, agility and accuracy). I searched for more photos from the web and created this painting. Having lived in a busy city for years, I always find nomadic life fascinating.
