Hang on Studio Wall

Gouache and ink in the resist style. This is the companion picture to the church in summer when the flowers were out. On this late summer's day visit, the sky was moody, the day quiet and the flowers nearly all gone leaving this big mass of messy seedheads which I found enchanting.
