these four abstract paper collages have been created by repurposing some old paintings. Tearing them up and reassembling them into new images. The idea arose from thinking about the title 'Repurpose Your Art.' I had a good rummage around old pictures on paper, in acrylic and oils and realising they were just wasting away with no purpose decided to be brave and tear and cut them into new shapes and patterns. This was very liberating and freed me my mind and enabled me to think in new terms.
