Poppies

Thank you Stephen... adding the tissue paper is another way of being able to use watercolour on canvas.. and of cours, poppies are an ideal subject for this method...the tissue allows for transparency and runs.

Thank you, Jacki- Poppies are a joy to paint because they are so flamboyant. The lend themselves to underlying collage or very rough paper...and the watercolour is used very strongly....also- the bigger - the better !!
